'In the Forest'

This painting of a male nude, seated on a fallen tree in woodland, is executed in oil paints on a stretched canvas measuring approximately 40x51cm. It was painted from a reference photograph that I took of a friend.

It was entered into the Coventry Arts Consortium Exhibition at the Herbert Art Gallery in Coventry in 2011.

This portrait was painted for publicity material for a joint exhibition at The Lock Gallery, Coventry in 2010. The idea was for us to paint a portrait of each other. Not being comfortable doing portraits I regretted the suggestion, but ended up pleased with the likeness.

It was painted in oil paints on a canvas approximately 40cm x 30cm.

This painting was completed for an open competition at Jane Powell's Art Studio in Kenilworth in June 2007 and has subsequently been sold to a private collector.

It was painted in acrylics on a box canvas approximately 16 inches x 12 inches.

This is the first and only painting completed since the re-launch of my artistic career at the beginning of 2007.
